Foreign Exchange chooses New Media Mill
The ambitious new PBS show Foreign Exchange with Fareed Zakaria wanted an equally ambitious web presence.
The ambitious new PBS show Foreign Exchange with Fareed Zakaria wanted an equally ambitious web presence. Its goal was no less than the creation of an on-line community of international digital video journalists who could post stories and comments in their own web portfolios.
It is no wonder the show’s producers turned to New Media Mill to fulfill their goals at a price they could afford.
“Our site www.foreignexchange.tv was delivered on time, on spec, and within our budget,” said senior producer Steve Sapienza. “They listened to our needs and worked with us to ensure we would be satisfied with the site. We continue to be amazed by their great work..”
New Media Mill is now hard at work integrating an encoding solution into the show's intranet so interns and production assistants can encode and post streaming video of the show without going to outside help. It is a solution similar to the one New Media Mill implemented at America’s Most Wanted.
