We Deliver for Mail Handlers
The Mail Handlers appreciate the easy-to-use tools of New MEdia Mill. And they should; they helped create them.
New Media Mill has worked with lots of non profit organizations in Wsahington DC, but when local Mail Handler Unions started calling, we saw it as more than a a business opportunity. The user feedback we got from mail handlers helped us improve our user interface.
Union locals have officers scattered across wide geographic areas. And these elected officers can change every few years when they hold elections. So we knew the user manuals we used to distribute with the content management system would be worthless.
That is when Eric Seyfried and John Whittington decided to introduce help dialog buttons. Now, whenever these union officials have a question about publishing content, all they need to do is click the button.
Of course, the unions also appreciate what happens on the public side of their websites. The local in Chicago even sports a streaming media message from its president.
And, if anyone wants to find out what is happening in the branches, all they have to do is click mouse over the interactive Flash map created by John Whittington. It's almost like a video game for adults.
New Media Mill has also prepared websites for locals in Richmond and Los Angeles.
